Holidays
Every island of the Canary
Islands has her own characteristics. We visited in 2001 the islands "La
Palma" and Lanzarote. La Palma is less touristic then Lanzarote and give you
are real good feeling of relaxing.
Lanzarote has more human interests, like the sculpture of Cesar Marique.
It was a though discission, New Zealand or Australia. The choice finally felt on New Zealand because several people amphesized the fact that you can see more in a short distance. While in Australia you had to drive a long way for a new amazing viewpoint. I don't know if that is true, but New Zealand was great. We spend 2 weeks on the two biggests islands and every day was just great.
In 2005 we went for a second time to Hawaii. On our first trip we hoped to see some lava, but we weren't that lucky. This time we were. It was just great.
If you live in Europe and you don't need sunshine during your holiday, then you should go to Scotland. The views are just amazing and almost around every corner you can find a rebuild castle or ruine.
