Pets
I try to take as much pictures of our animals as possible. Not always with a great result, but most of the time quite nice to have.
Kimba is at the moment our oldest cat, but he still is very fit and loves to catch mice in our garden.
Some cats are special, Bibi is such a cat. She can be the sweetest cat around, but in just a second she can be pissed of and if you are lucky you don't get a tick over your hand. It has mallowed the last few months, but it is still present.
Okkie was our first Bengal cat. They always say that Bengals are demanding, but Okkie was the sweetest cat I have known. Okay, he was good at manipulating, he could "miauw" as the best and sometimes he threw things on the ground, but for the rest... just great. Since last year he disappeared. We still miss him very much.
If you have one Bengal, you easily fall in love with another. When Okkie was more than two years old, Murphy came along. Murphy is Okkie's half brother. And he loves to sit on your lap. Every moment he gets the change, he will sit there and tell you his storey of the day.
One of our main reasons to buy a small farm, was the ability to keep small farm animals. In October 2005, we bought our first two, Heron, a male angora goat and Diana a female angora goat. And before we knew it, the couple had a small baby-goat. We named her Mariken.
We enlarged the "weide" to give Heron, Diana and Mariken more space and the ability to eat enough grass. After a few days it became 'duidelijk' the it was to much for our Angora goats, so we decided to add two new goats. First we searched for one or two young Angora goats, but we weren't lucky. And we already had something like, wouldn't it be more fun to add a different kid of goat. So we made up our minds and decided to buy to young dwarf goats and named them Aafke and Betty.
